Did you capture your payment? What is the invoice status?
It should be ‘Paid’. If it’s paid and captured within paypal you should be able to refund online.
When I login to the PayPal Sandbox I can see the payment (see screenshot) but I did notice in Magento Sales order “Last Transaction ID:” is empty (see screenshot) does that mean it never got into Magento but did in PayPal?
It does show paid (see screenshot).
On the Magento PayPal configuration I have only filled in the “Email Associated with PayPal Merchant Account” & “Website Payments Standard Settings”
Anymore suggestions? Maybe something on the PalPal Sandbox settings?
Thanks enarcatwix - Its looks like it a IPN PayPal configuration error.
In PayPal “Instant Payment Notification Preferences” I setup Notification URL to “http://10.10.10.10/magento/paypal/ipn/” which will be wrong as this isn’t a internet facing address. I checked on “Instant Payment Notification (IPN) history” in PayPal and the status was “Failed”
I will have to setup a internet facing address and will try again.
seems like the ability for refunding online has been removed for \"Website Standard\” as there\’s no refund-Method in Standard-Model.
There\’s a refund-Method in Mage_Paypal_Model_Pro, though.
Or did I miss something?
