I have exactly the same problem.  Let me know if you figure it out, i have not had any luck as of yet.

Ok, fixed my problem.  I had added an older Order.php to my local code when i upgraded to 1.6.0.0 to fix an error.

app/code/local/Mage/Sales/Order.php

I deleted this file and the problem on the admin page went away.

I’m also having the same problem.  I’ve upgraded an old database, but currently using only files from the 1.7 tarball--all default 1.7 files, nothing added or adjusted.  Did you find a fix for this?

Does anyone has find a fix for this issue ?

That solved my problem too. The only difference is that my file was at app/code/local/Mage/Sales/Model/Order.php

Hi guys, this work for me, i have 1.7.0.2 version

Copy from ver 1.6.xx app\\code\\core\\Mage\\Adminhtml\\Block\\Sales\\Order\\ View.php to the new version and this solve the issue.
