We just upgraded to Magento 1.7 from 1.4.2 and found that the FedEx gateway url field absent from the config form. And we just filled all our FedEx credential and it is not generating any estimation. We contacted FedEx and they say they don’t see any communication, they suspect the gateway url is not correct. But now with the filed missing, where can we fix this problem to direct the correct gateway url?

Can you manually re-enter the information in the admin?

Brent, that’s the problem I was talking about, the FedEx gateway url field is missing from the admin config panel: system-> configuration->sales->shipping methods->FedEx, we can’t manually enter the url. Is there any other place we can enter the url or anyone know how to fix this missing field problem?

I found the gateway url is actually hard coded in the php file. The Magento new release bug fix claim of fixing the problem is incorrect

What php file can I change the gateway url? Where should I navigate to?
Using Magento 1.7 as well
I triied obtaining a production key and still the same problem. When I save all the numbers I entered for my fedex account:
Account Id
Key
Password
Meter Number
All reset to 6 digits ******

Tried sandbox mode yes/no.
Any suggestions?

I have recently updated Magento to 1.7 as well and we are having the same issue.
There is no field for gateway url under Fedex in shipping methods.
Is there a fix? Thanks.

Its true, I am having the same problem in Magento Community edition 1.6.2.0.  Fedex support tech informed me that our site is not pinging their server for live rates and customers are not getting charged properly for Fedex shipping.

Can anyone tell me the path to the file which has the Fedex Gateway URL?
