Magento

I created a custom theme locally and uploaded the theme files to my live server. After indicating the theme and default theme, when I go to the front end. I get this:

“Fatal error: Class ‘Mage_Core_Helper_Cookie’ not found in root/app/Mage.php on line 516”

Now, I searched *high* and *low* for a solution to this problem, but nothing.

I have…

- cleared cache
- cleared sessions
- reinstalled all extensions
- checked the theme folder permissions
- checked it compilations was enabled (disabled by default)

I don’t know what do next. Can someone please help?

Just Copy this file:
http://svn.magentocommerce.com/source/branches/1.7/app/code/core/Mage/Core/Helper/Cookie.php

and paste in to your:
root/app/code/core/mage/helper/cookie.php

hopefully it works

Hi,

The Reason for your problem is cookie.php file is not present in app/code/core/mage/core/helper/.

Solution:
You have to add cookie.php file. Download the magento files from magento site. Extract it .You can find the cookie.php file in app/code/core/mage/core/helper.
Copy this file and paste it into the your installation folder( app/code/core/mage/core/helper/).
