Hello,

I’ve just installed 1.7.0.0 and have noticed that the ‘Add Products’ button no longer appears when you try to place an order in the back end, anyone else getting this?

Create New Order > Select Customer > Select Store > No button on Items Ordered header as before.

Hi,

I am having the exact same issue and flushing the cache hasn’t helped. Any other ideas of what might be wrong?

Thanks,
Michael

Hi,

Just an update. I pulled down a fresh copy of Enterprise 1.12.0.2 and re-tested across all browsers. This was to rule out this being a core bug. Its not.

I then checked again on my install and found the following.

If I cleared my browser cache completely and also cleared the JS cache on magento, this seems to resolve the issue.

I re-tested with the same browsers and they now work

This does not solve it for me…
To clarify I’ve attached a screenshot

I had this problem too.

I solved this by using the original /js/mage/adminhtml/sales.js file.

All these function changed between version and you need to have the file from 1.7

I encountered the same issue after an upgrade from 1.6.1.0 to 1.7.0.2.

For me at least it was a simple browser caching issue. I did a quick test by using Firefox to access the admin (I don’t use Firefox for accessing the admin) and the button was right there in the Items Ordered metabox on the Create New Order for New Customer screen. I cleared the cache in Chrome, my preferred browser, and the button was right there on the new view.

this worked for me after an update from 1.5 to 1.7

replace the js dir with a fresh js dir from the magento-1.7.0.2.zip file.

After replacing the JS dir I cleared the magento cache and JavaScript / CSS cache

I had to clear the Firefox cache also…
