Multi-Level Full Page Cache

Extendware is proud to introduce our Full Page Cache Magento Extension. This is a multi-level full page cache with 4 backends (file, apc, xcache, and memcache). It supports distributed memcache servers for the very large stores. The first level cache does not use the database, so your database load will be greatly reduced. Everything is easily configurable in the admin area. No editing XML files. Hole punches for 99% of stores are already done. Most people can install this extension, click a few options in the admin settings page, and their site will be full page cached. It is a one-click, super fast full page cache solution.

This is a best in class extension. The price won’t always be so low, so act now. Contact support if you have any questions.

View the product page with images, demo, and more information. Also, dont forget to look at our catalog where you can try it on extendware.

We have been very busy adding improvements to our offering. Full page cache now has the ability to crawl your site (with an optional extension): Full page cache crawler.

In addition, non-default store and currencies are supported for the primary cache (before these would only be served by the secondary cache).

Your extension looks interesting, is there a hole punch for product availability on simple and configurable items?

Hello, there are not hole punches for this. You can look at the product images and see the hole punches in action (they will be outlined in red). I believe there are 11-12 of them.

Data at this level (availability / price) is not really something you want hole punched as it would affect performance (might as well not run the cache in that situation). With a caching solution you really need to decide how realtime the information needs to be. There are a few options:

1) Don’t worry about it. When the user adds the item to their cart they can be notified for the 1% of the time this happens. Items will auto-update as they expire from cache (by default 24 hours but you can set this to a few minutes or weeks depending on needs).

2) Flush the cache after every product change (the magento enterprise approach). If you information changes a lot this limits the usefulness of the cache

3) In order to avoid having to set a low cache expiration or to flush the cache after every change, you can use the Full Page Cache Crawler which will update your pages in intervals. This way some sections of your site can stay in cache for a long time (a day or more), but the main parts (product pages) will be updated ever X hours or however often you specify the crawler to run.

The other way to increase backend performance - run reindex process in background.  For implement this mechanism you can use something like this one http://mirasvit.com/magento-extensions/magento-asynchronous-reindex.html
