Hi folks - I made backups of my install before upgrading to 2.0 via Magento Connect. After the upgrade I had 500 errors on every page in the store, so I restored the shop and the mysql database using my restore program, and now I have the following error on every page:

[message:protected] => SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table ‘databasename.catalog_product’ doesn’t exist

Any ideas? This process should have just reverted my store to its previous state.

ahh. welcome to the 1.2 hell Same thing happened to me.  In my case it was a rogue folder under \app\code\core\mage called “downloader” - once I removed that, all was well. I hope this helps..

Thank you SO much. For whatever reason, that folder was called Downloadable in my install, but renaming it resurrected my shop. Thanks again.

I am having the exact error, but when I deleted the suggested folder, it still does not work.
SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table ‘silkflowersplants.catalogindex_aggregation’ doesn’t exist

I have the same issue.. I upgraded from 1.1.8 to 1.2.0

That didn’t work so I went back to 1.1.8

Now I have this same issue.

Strange part is it’s intermittent.. it comes and goes.

I am getting a similar issue after upgrading from v1.1.8 to v1.2.

anyone got any ideas of what i should do?..

Its a real nightmare for me as I have invested alot of time and money in building up the DB in this store.

turbo1 - you truly are a prince among men. I was about throw myself out of the window (well at least delete everything on the server and try re-installing) I have managed to get my store back and working to the old 1.1.7 from a VERY non working 1.2.0.2 just by renaming that ‘downloadable’ directory.

Guys with the Catalog Index problem, try making this file inoperable (I just put the number one at the end of it):

/app/code/core/Mage/CatalogIndex/sql/catalogindex_setup/mysql4-upgrade-0.7.9-0.7.10.php

No idea what else doing this breaks but I don’t care anymore, the site seems to be working. Let me know.

Avez-vous trouvé une solution, j’ai le même problème, je ne m’en suis pas rendu compte tout de suite, mais le fait est qu’un client ne peut plus ajouter de produits dans le panier. Sans erreurs apparente, lors d’une tentative d’ajout, l’info, Impossible d’ajouter l’article au panier apparaît systématiquement.
