After i updated through magento connect from ver 1.0.19870.6 to 1.2.0, it broke all my pages on the frontend.

Link to my development box http://tnt.rockit01.dnsalias.com/index.php.  However, the admin works perfect http://tnt.rockit01.dnsalias.com/admin.

Anyone encounter this on an upgrade before?  I am using my own theme for this, so wondering if that may be causing the issue?

Or, is the upgrade from ver 1.0.19870.6 to 1.2.0 too much of a leap?  Is there a way i can upgrade to each major release one at a time through magento connect or ssh?

I have the same trouble.
If i point directly to one of the catalog page, it is working. Only main page is broken.

Ok i found the problem.
It is linked to the CMS : you have to enter the “custom theme’ for all your cms page instead of selecting nothing.
Before the update, selecting nothing = use the Current package name (and it was a good thing IMHO).
So you just have to edit your “home” page in the CMS, go to “custom design” and enter the “Custom Theme” and “layout”.

Sweet.  That solved it.

I am however getting a new error.

Fatal errorCall to undefined method Mage_Catalog_Helper_Product::getPriceHtml() in /var/www/tntleatherworx_com/dev/app/design/frontend/default/tntleatherworx/template/catalog/product/view/type/configurable.phtml on line 67

Found this link about updating my theme, i’m sure this is probably the solution http://www.magentocommerce.com/wiki/upgrading_magento_themes_for_the_latest_releases
