Go to
/app/design/frontend/default/_YOUR THEME/template/catalog/product/

There you will see list.phtml and view.phtml
Those two files are rendered on catalog.
If you want to remove price and addtocart link search for something similar to

<?php echo $this->getPriceHtml($_producttrue?>
                    <?php
if($_product->isSaleable()): ?>

<p><button type="button" title="<?php echo $this->__('Add to Cart') ?>" class="button btn-cart" onclick="setLocation('<?php echo $this->getAddToCartUrl($_product) ?>')"><span><span><?php echo $this->__('Add to Cart'?></span></span></button></p>

<?php else: ?>

<class="availability out-of-stock"><span><?php echo $this->__('Out of stock'?></span></p>

<?php endif; ?>

on list.phtml.
You should do it in two places, for each list type (list/grid).

For view.phtml search for

$this->getChildHtml('product_type_data') - for price
$this
->getChildHtml('addtocart') - for cart

Hello

Rather than editing templates you can remove these options using Magento XML.

In your template folder structure (app/design/frontend/<package>/<theme>/layout)

In the layout folder structure above create a local.xml (if you haven\’t already got one).

Add in…

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<layout version="0.1.0">
    <!--
Product page -->
    <
catalog_product_view>
        <
reference name="product.info">
            <
remove name="product.info.simple" />
            <
remove name="product.info.addtocart" />
        </
reference>
    </
catalog_product_view>
</
layout>

If you look in catalog.xml you will see how Magento defines blocks to the template files. When you see a Child HTML call like the one above to “product_type_data”, you will see this created in catalog.xml. You can remove them by specifying the name defined against the block here.

Hope this helps. Any questions do ask away!

Cheers
Matt

Hi, for hiding prices and add to cart button you may use extensions that called Call For Price

Hi, you can also take a look at this module: http://amasty.com/customer-group-catalog.html. This tool allows managing visibility of specific categories and products by customer groups. Configure product price visibility on product and category pages.

So, you can easily hide product prices and ‘Add to cart’ button for any customer groups.

Hello.

You can remove the prices from the layout adding the following css rule to your store using the css editor.

.product-variants, .price, .add_cart{display:none!important;}
.
I hope it helps
Best.

if you don’t want to modify or pollute your template, you can use this extension to hide/remove no matter what kind of product’s price and remind user this product needed to call for price or more quotes. AND it works for all kind of theme without modify any template or rewrite.

magento connect link : http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/catalog/product/view/id/22443/

The Call for Price Magento extension is an amazing tool to help you hide product price, “Add to Cart” button and replace to an eye-catching call-to action text or anything else in your store. You can apply this option to all products and disable for a separate one.

Learn more about the module and try on demo on the product page.
