Hey folks,

I am having great difficulty here that I have never experienced with a store script before.
No matter what I do, I can not get my products or categories to display on the main page when I go to http://www.dglscripts.com

I have everything set that I can see. Category, product, product assigned to Category. Category set as root Category, Prices, stock, etc. Nothing works.

Can anyone please help with this?

Do you have your ROOT and SUB categories set as ‘active’ - Is Active needs to be yes

Yep. Everything is set to Active.

make sure that your categories are inside of the “Default Category”

system/manage stores..
main website store
make sure that “Default Category” selected as “Root Category”

Is it possible to get the categories and/or products displayed under where it says “Welcome” on the main page?

Also, when I click Ad To Cart for the test product I have up there under Software, it brings me to the Cart but asks me to add it to the cart again. So, I type “1” without the quotes into the Quantity box and click Add To Cart again and just above it appears the text:

Please specify product link(s).

Any ideas peeps?

Ok I sorted out those issues by redoing the system settings.
Now, getting this error when I click the PayPal button to checkout:

There was an error during communication with Paypal: Authentication/Authorization Failed - You do not have permissions to make this API call

Anyone get this before?

What type of product did you create ? Did you create at least one link as well ?

Downloadable Product mate and uploaded it as File.

Ok, now I am getting to PayPal when I click the button. But, getting this:

This transaction is invalid. Please return to the recipient’s website to complete your transaction using their regular checkout flow.

Am I going to get assistance with this or not? If not then I will use another script. Just tell me so I won’t be wasting my time here.

Could you explain what you did that make the first message go away. I also get “Please specify product link(s)” . And can’t find how to let people put products in their cart i made an downloadable product.

Yeah well, you can understand that he gets upset. He had an issue no one could solve for him, although he could have tried paying for some extra support I suppose. Such posts as that one just isn’t fair to the hard working staff, or community members for that matter. It’s kinda funny that he asks for 24/7 support and minute based updates though, hehe

Well… i hoped he would give the right example and leave an answer he has on a issue on the forum… When i find a solution, i will post it…

Okey, sometimes, you need step away from a problem. I had another look at it just yet and it is ‘simple’… By productinformation i needed to add a file to download… Now i get an option to get a link. I thought i had filled out that field, but checking today it was empty… I’m not sure what these options do, but figure that out now.

PS. To be clear… its the bottom option by productinformation called ‘Downloadable information’
