Is there anyone that would like to help me upgrading our Magento shop? We would use remote connection and I will assist all the work. I do not have enough skills within Magento to do the work myself. Paid pr. hour. Please send me an email on goo@thinc.no.

I’d suggest making a fresh installation of Magento version you’d like to upgrade to and then move your whole database from the old Magento to the new version. I’m not sure you’ve considered that, but this would save you much more time and resources. Though this is not the usual upgrade process, but this way you don’t really need to have tech skills for that. Here’s more info about that: http://www.shopping-cart-migration.com/useful-articles/42-magento/4416-magento-upgrade-or-migrate. Then, after you make the fresh installation, you can use this service to move all your database there in a matter of hours and completely automatically: http://www.shopping-cart-migration.com/supported-carts/55-magento. Hiring a freelancer per hour would cost you like 10 or 20 times more. Seriously, consider that.
