Magento

I have a client that we tried using VirtueMart for their Joomla site but it is just not performing the way we would like.  We are considering moving to Magento and would like to know if anyone knows how to bring all the product images, descriptions, pricing, sku’s etc. into Magento without having to reinvent the wheel.

I am assuming a database dump of some sort into a CSV but not having ever done that before am unsure.

Any ideas and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It is all in dataflow - there are screencasts to get you started. The basic process is that you make one or two products, export the csv, add to it and read it in again.
