All seemed fine till customers started reporting to me that there was major issues with not being able to login.
Now it looks like all my passwords arent right anymore. I can’t send new passwords because they dont work either!!
How did you do the upgrade, Magento Connect or did you unzip the 1.8 to the directory?
If I had to guess I would say your MD5 encryption key changed.
Do new user passwords work ok?
Have you tried changing the password through phpMyAdmin?
You can do so by:- 1. Find the Magento database.
2. Find the admin_user field.
3. Edit the password filed and be sure to choose MD5 before you update it.
