Hi all…

I’m trying to get web server rewrites going on my test server to make sure all will be good before going live.

I’ve tried every combination of turning “Web Server Rewrites on/off” from the configuration panel and changing/commenting out the “RewriteBase” line in my .htaccess. I’ve tried copying over a new .htaccess. I’ve flushed my cache and re-indexed after every change and I’m still getting 404 errors on anything but the homepage.

This is my development URL: http://174.136.32.67/~naturalk/

I’ve confirmed mod_rewrite is turned on, and I’ve tried adding “AllowOverride All” to the top of my .htaccess with no luck.

My .htaccess file is currently an exact copy of the sample one.

Can anyone help figure this one out? Thanks in advance!

Getting the same errors from Magento 1.5.1, i\’ve scouted every thread on Mod_rewrite but can\’t find a solution.

My site is in the root directory and I can confirm mod_rewrite works on a test page.

My .htaccess:

############################################
## enable rewrites

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on

############################################
## you can put here your magento root folder
## path relative to web root

RewriteBase /

But still getting not found errors. Anyone found a solution?
