I am getting this error in my footer Fatal error: Call to a member function getBackend() on a non-object in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/app/code/core/Mage/Eav/Model/Entity/Abstract.php on line 816

I am not sure what this is of how to fix it.  I tryed to replace the file but that did not work. Any suggestion please.

Thanks,

Lex

How did you fix this problem?

It has something to do with cache. If you log into your admin > Systems > cache management you can disable and refresh EAV clear it. or you can log in to your cpanel under the folder var > cache> and delete all folders in that file mage--0 all of them. than go back to your admin panel and refresh all your admin > Systems > cache management stuff.

Hope this helps you.
