Can someone add a product like:  Gold Membership to their shopping cart.

This product, would then tell Magento to deduct 15% off of the shopping carts price.  Is this possible?

I can recommend our private sale solution. Fully working script with private sale module, invitations, store management, rewards module, email subscriptions, site-access permissions and more. We also have online demo. Here is our product page: http://www.plumrocket.com/solutions/how-to-create-a-membership-website/

Thanks for the response PlumRocket.  I’ll look into your solution.

For those that may have found this thread, I did find a solution to my problem inside of Magento.  I use shopping cart price rules, and had set a specific attribute to my product.  It then deducted 15% off of the remainder products of the shopping cart.  Working just like how I want it to work.
