This is an odd error that actually doesn’t happen very often but needs to be escalated beyond me to get it fixed in some cases. Can you please email me the package so I can take a look? rhonda at magento dot com

Hi!

I published 3 extensions which are now available only on MagentoConnect 1.0.

When I try to upload them on MagentoConnect 2.0, I have the same error as CardGate when I upload the archive located in the var/pear directory.

And when I upload the archive in the var/connect directory, I have 2 errors:

An error occurred during upload to channel MagentoConnect 1.0: Unable to upload new release My_Module-x.x.x.tgz
An error occurred during upload to channel MagentoConnect 2.0: You have not enough rights

Have you a solution?

I am getting below error when try to submit package generated with 1.6 version.

An error occurred during upload to channel MagentoConnect 1.0: Unable to upload new release Facebook_Connect_Like_Share_Wishlist_And_Post_Comment-1.0.0.tgz

Package has been successfully uploaded to Magento Connect channel ver.2.0

Can you please review attached image for more details? thanks for your support

This also happens to me, and I really need to update my extension, since the one online has a bug that prevent some shippings options to be showed.

Additionally when I’ve tried to install the package via magento connect 2.0 I see:

“community/Meanbee_Postcode: No releases for ‘Meanbee_Postcode’, skipping”

Even when I’m installing a specific version.

Any ideas?

this seems like a common problem with magento connect these days. i have the exact same problem. both the connect 1.0 upload error with connect 2.0 success message and that error message “no release for ... skipping” when trying to install my extension.

connecting to ftp://connect20.magentocommerce.com with an FTP client also shows my, that my extension directory on the server contains no release directories…

Just use package form var/pear directory instead var/community when upload it to Magento Connect
