Dear community,

Im trying to remove /index.php/ from my url.

When i turn Webserver Rewrites to YES, the URL shows http://www.mydomain..nl/products but i get a error page.

Please look at the picture of my .htaccess file. I says “ rewrite everything else to index.php.

Im scared to edit this file, since it killed my website more then i wanted smile

Any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks in advance!

Ro

You can try changing your Apache config from AllowOverride None to AllowOverride All. This should work.

Ask to your hoster to enable mod_rewrite for apache.

It is possible that you need something like this extension Advanced SEO Suite http://mirasvit.com/magento-extensions/advanced-seo-suite.html.
