I want to add styles into the styles dropdown.

Where can i add new styles on a easy way?
Let say I like to add Green, Purple, Red in back-end dropdown, then i add into my css .green{color:green;} so on front-end i see a green text!

prolly somewhere here?

/js/tiny_mce/plugins/style/js
/js/mage/adminhtml/wysiwyg/tiny_mce

please help!
i still don’t get it why i can’t find any topics about this..

I know this is an old post, but just incase anyone was looking for an easy solution.

Find the file: \js\mage\adminhtml\wysiwyg\tiny_mce\themes\advanced\skins\default\content.css

Then simply add custom styles to the bottom

So:

.green { color:green;}

Save the file, flush magento cache and “green” should be visible in the styles drop down.

Great, this worked, however it only worked in version 1.7. AlthouI had to include

[code<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="<?php echo Mage::getBaseUrl(Mage_Core_Model_Store::URL_TYPE_JS); ?>mage/adminhtml/wysiwyg/tiny_mce/themes/advanced/skins/default/content.css” />]

in head.phtml file.

In 1.8 it no longer works. Any ideas why?

Found a solution, kinda…

Copied js\mage\adminhtml\wysiwyg\tiny_mce contents from 1.7 version to 1.8. Now it works.
