I have done a fresh install of both 1.6.0 as well as 1.6.1-RC1 - Hosted on Media Temple DV 4.0

I have enabled FedEx shipping as the only shipping method and entered all the correct production codes/keys/passwords… (the FedEx fields required are now a little different than previous magento 1.5)

Whenever I add an item to the cart and try to calculate shipping I get an HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error)

Here is my log file info:

Do you have the SOAP client installed on your PHP machine?  It’s complaining because it cannot find the SoapClient PEAR file.  So either your pear installation doesn’t have soap, in which case you can do ‘pear install SOAP’ at the command line, or figure out where SOAP is installed and add that to your php include path.

I’m in a similar situation, except for the error part.  Mine just flat out won’t calculate the shipping and add it to the checkout amount.  I’m using Google Checkout and did a clean install of 1.6.  Everything is set up perfectly.  Here’s where it gets odd:  in sandbox, everything calculates and works great.  As soon as I switch to production, it stops calculating.  Well.....at least on my end.  I spoke with FedEx and he said on his end it was calculating perfectly and working just as it should.  Even the estimate shipping block works fine.  He was baffled as am I.  Any ideas?

I am having issues with integrating FEDEX to Magento...The fedex part is good on their side but somehow Magento does not seem to read it.

1) it cannot calculate the # of pieces on check out....it gives only a rate for 1 item instead of 4 items
2) the discount rate does not show when fedex has programmed it on their end. My developer does not seem to know anything and keeps passing the buck to Fedex...It is suppose to be on Magentos side but i dont know what to do as i rely fully on the developer
