I’ve managed to update my site to 1.6 from 1.4.1 everything seems to working ok apart from a random problem, for no reason I get this error

Front controller reached 100 router match iterations

I clear my cache and it’s ok again

I have the same issue. But it seems that all running fine.

I’m still getting these random errors, any help?

Is there anyone that can help me with this? it only happens when I turn the cache on

Beermonster, do you have any custom modules? I try removing theme to see if that solves your problem. Perhaps you have one that is over riding a controller incorrectly

I do have a few, I don\\\’t really know where to start with them it only started to happen when I upgraded to 1.6 and all my modules are supposed to be compatible with 1.6, I will disable them all and see what changes, what are these controllers and what would they be used for or what would use them, that might give me an idea where to start looking

Remember that disabling the module doesn’t do anything, you need to remove the xml from from you modules directory to completely disable it

No I didn’t know that, I thought if I changed them to false they were disabled, so taking the file out is as good as uninstalling it?

Yes, taking out the XML file will stop the module from loading

I took out what I could without my site stopping working totally but I still got the error

And replying to these posts is becoming a pain with the captcha can’t it be turned off?

Can you log into admin and try re-indexing, it could be a bad re-direct in your url re-write

Reindexed didn’t work, I have found some info on the net that gives me more info, this is the last part of my system log just as it happened

You haven’t removed all your extensins, namely fishpig_wordpress, seosuite

I would suspect the wordpress plug in.

I’ve now removed it and will see how it goes, I will update this thread either way.

Thanks for your help I wish this forum had more people like you.

An update on this, I’ve removed fishpig and seosuite and it’s still not fixed, I have worked out I can enable all cache options apart from configuration and everything seems fine, but if I enable configuration front controller error comes back :(
