I’ve given up trying to install this on my dedicated server until I can reformat it and upgrade the OS. In the meantime, I’ve signed up with a BlueHost account, and am trying to install it there. I don’t have SSH access yet, so I can’t run the pear commands from the shell, and therefore I’m trying to use your beta downloader. When I do this, however, I’m running into a memory limit. I’ve tried editing my php.ini file to allow for a larger memory limit, but that didn’t help.
Is there a way to do this in more than one step? If this process was split up into a few steps, the memory limit wouldn’t be reached (which is currently 32M). I’m sure others are having the same problem due to limits placed by their hosting companies.
