Switching to a new database

mcbrs Total Posts: 1 Joined: 2011-10-03 Ignore user	I am looking into Magento for a possible solution for our company. We currently have a product database with about 250k products that is not supported by Magento. However, our existing DB is capable of outputting JSON or XML on request. How practical or reasonable would it be to replace the database calls made by Magento with JSON queries to our DB Server? On a related question how good is the separation of coding between data storage, business logic and presentation?
