I have a problem importing my 100k items in the site with custom fields called warranty. the default magento importing is very slow. i take one week to update or to import my products. do you have any suggestions to make my importing more faster?

Turn off the indexer in Magento and it’ll be around 150% faster -> system -> index management.
If you’re doing it by code, insert these two lines:
Mage::getSingleton('index/indexer')->lockIndexer();some import code..Mage::getSingleton('index/indexer')->unlockIndexer();

Remember to turn it on again, and reindex the shop when the import is done.
