I’ve been debugging my site since upgrading 1.1.8 (acutally since version 1 if the truth be known) .  I was having problems amending uploaded images.  So i did a fresh install, leaving the database the same, hoping to resolve some of the problems.  The site is now running 1.1.8

I can upload my products and images using a CSV file and have them show in the admin section.  However, i cannot get them to display on the front end.  I can add a new product and have it display in the front end but none of my products from my CSV file.

I have tried changing the “Store” value in the CSV file to use “admin” and “default”
Tried
I clear the cache (computer and admin) (Catalog Rewrites, Images Cache, Layered Navigation Indices)

I’m not sure what else to try.  Can anyone please help me?

In my experience, using the actual “storeview_id” and “website_id” instead of “admin” or “default” works well.

store websites sku ...

storeview_id website_id

I’m having the same issue, this seems like a Magento bug as the products are properly imported from the looks of it and I also tried adding in a new product through the cms, no Luck.

Hi! i do also the same job.
at starting i face same problem, but now i resolve it, and it is working correctly
it will occur if u leave to insert entries in some tables.
i know it .
make entry for all the attribures, which are with name attribures of product ie product url, sku etc
If u have any prob then, let me know.

Hi,

i’m having the same problem. All of a sudden dataflow started acting weird.

I import products in CSV, i FINALLY have managed to import the products WITH the image but then products disappeared!

In Backend, they’re visible “NoWhere” instead of “Catalog, Search” which is the actual value for all products in my csv file, they’re “Disabled” instead of “Enabled” which is thee actual value for all products inside the csv file.

I’m sick of this. I think i’m gonna stick with oscommerce until magento starts to work properly, or prestashop which sounds really promising.

Hell no! this is not a stable version! I’ve had TONS of problems.
