I have created search and result form. Search form contains search criteria fields when these fields are submitted then result page displayed.For sending data of form i used POST method....

For that i have written following code in config.xml file

<menu>
            <
catalog>
                <
children>
                    <
new_adminform translate="title" module="new">
                        <
title>Test Form</title>
                        <
action>new/adminhtml_test</action>
                    </
new_adminform>
                </
children>
            </
catalog>
        </
menu>

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<layout>
    <
new_adminhtml_test_index>
        <
reference name="content">
            <
block type="new/test" name="test" template="new/test.phtml"/>
        </
reference>
    </
new_adminhtml_test_index>
    <
new_adminhtml_result_index>
        <
reference name="content">
            <
block type="new/result" name="test" template="new/result.phtml"/>
        </
reference>
    </
new_adminhtml_result_index>
</
layout>

Iif i changed form method to GET then i get error of 404 page not found....
Also if i rewrite this tag <new_adminhtml_result_index> like <new_adminhtml_result> its unable to display page....
How can i move from search from to result form with using form GET method.
Can anyone tell me that how i can solve this?.

Thanks
Pravin C.

Take a look at the magento controller model to understand how GET variables can be handled.
