Yes I had the same message during one of several efforts to install on one of my sub-domains.

In the end I just deleted app/etc/local.xml (again) and re-installed (*again*).  Finally it worked and got all the way through the install.

PLUS, I can finally save products and attributes (hooray LOL has been as issue for at least a week by now)

I give up. I’m experienced on many platforms, but this is to bloated. 6500+ files and objects is too much.

Hi guys,

Is it really the only error message you have on the page ? Actually there should be a detailed error message describing the problem above this one.
