I am really at a lost to understand what happened here; after reading through dozens of posts and also positing a request for help on this importing issue.ue to exhausted memory.
Starting over with a fresh installation of Magento 1.6, I thought that my problems working with 14 would be less. and it stated out well until I tried to upload a large file of products; the system timed out with a fatal error .
I reduced the size of the file and then the IE 500’s began. Caches flushed inside Magento and files delted from var/cach, still nada.
I increased the number of products to 100 in the import all products profile- well above what I was trying to import-still no joy.
Do I need to re-install the app to fix this problem?
I would really appreciate some guidance to solve this problem.
