Hello, I’ve got a 1.5.0.1 CE Installation width around 7000 skus and when after I run indexer.php reindexall show successfully for all indexes
but innmediatly I run run indexer.php --status still all Pending except Catalog URL Rewrites that still Running....

I tried with and without flat tables and it’s the same

It’s actually reindexed???? How I can check indexes are ok, it’s data save in any tables than i.e. I can drop, run indexes and check content…

Thanks and best regards,

Refer this Post;

By above link; you can do re-index through SSH.
If you don’t have SSH access then use following script for re-index.

<?php
require_once 'app/Mage.php';
$app Mage::app('admin');
umask(0);
for (
$index 1$index <= 8$index++) {
    $process
Mage::getModel('index/process')->load($index);

$process->reindexAll();
}
Make reindex.php file and save above code into it… go on browser and run it
http://yourdomainname/reindex.php

Good Luck.!!
Cheers smile

Indeed when a large number of goods or attributes need to be saved, backend works very slow, as each time you save data the system re-indexes the goods through the entire catalog.
Asynchronous Re-indexing is a solution of this problem. When a product or category is saved it is not immediately re-indexed, but put into a queue. The queue is re-indexed in the background. This greatly speeds up the backend. This mechanism is implemented by using an extension of http://mirasvit.com/magento-extensions/magento-asynchronous-reindex.html
