My admin pages are still showing 1.1.7 at the bottom. Anyone else experiencing this or did I do something wrong?

Anyone found a solution to this?? I’ve just upgraded from 1.1.6 to 1.1.8 and its still saying 1.1.6 in the admin panel......

Its really annoying that every single upgrade of any Magento component i’ve done has resulted in errors of some kind!

Since version 1.1.7 there are many problems in upgrading. Sometimes it works fine and sometime it doesn’t. On one of my server everything upgrade well but on the other i have to manually change every diff.
So i have a 1.1.6 version on front and backend, but all codes are upgraded.
And i think future version will be upgraded manually.

I guess that some of you moved your website at least once? Just delete pear.ini under the downloader/pearlib folder.

And then re-install the upgrade.

Probably some module dependencies are missing. See my post here: http://www.magentocommerce.com/boards/viewthread/24393/
