I used the Magento Connect Manager to update to the newest version and no i get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method Mage_Eav_Model_Mysql4_Entity_Type_Collection::getData() in /home/daveleon/public_html/app/code/core/Mage/Eav/Model/Config.php on line 211

It had something to do with not all the files from the upgrade being changed. my host fixed it but I am unsure what they did. I’m hosted with Simple Helix

I’m also having the same problem.  Upgraded from 1.1.6 to 1.1.8

Any idea’s anyone?

I’ve fixed my site by:

1) deleting all the files on the server apart from Media folder and my customised templates
2) Uploaded the latest 1.1.8 files to my site using ftp
3) Did the usual set up pages.

After completing, site now works.
