ADMIN KEEPS LOGGING ME OFF

Hi,

I successfully log into the admin panel and go to catalog/manage categories. I play around with the category feature and keep getting logged off the admin.

I receive a quick preview of what appears to be the front end (screenshot attached) centred in the middle of the page, then a quick short one line error message too fast to read but I can quickly get the jist that it’s telling me something along the lines of ajaxExpired-------------------.

Then a second later I have to enter in my admin username and password to re-log in.

Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

I’m currently running version 1.1.7.

I’m messing around with the categories but cannot get them to show up on the front end, what am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Are you running a fresh install of Magento or is it an upgrade?

I met the same problem.
Did you solve it?

{"ajaxExpired”:1,"ajaxRedirect”:"http:\/\/www.domain.com\/magento\/index.php\/admin\/index\/login\/"}
