Hi all,
was on 1.1.3, upgrading to 1.1.7 using magento connect.
connect reported various modules needed upgrading.

I have all files and folders @ 777 and owned by apache apache

You see the upgrades happening in the green screen, BUT; I’m still on 1.1.3
no changes, I browse through all the directories, and th latest date on any file is August.

I have also tried doing the reinstall Mage_All_Latest

So, all is working as usual, but no upgrade.

I have browsed through this and other forums, but this seems unique to me

Any and all thoughts appreciated!

Thanks, Paul
EDIT; also refreshed cache

I think I have the same issue. We were on 1.1.6, upgraded to 1.1.7, everything updated in Magento Connect, but it still says 1.1.6.

after upgrading, you have to Make sure to select “Clear all sessions after successful install or upgrade”
Click ‘Commit changes’
After successfully upgrading click the ‘Refresh’ button that will appear under the console frame.
This will probably solve your problem

Thanks mistcooling,

I did that during install, however, no difference, just tried again selecting “clear all sessions” and commiting, with no visible difference.

Regards,
Paul

Try to reinstall magenento-core/Interface_Install_Default ?

Then empty the var/cache folder.

Have you cleared the var/cache/* and var/session/* ?

Also, if you have SSH access, you can try to force an upgrade with this command (must be run from the Magento root directory):

./pear install -f magento-core/Mage_All_Latest

If the above command produces any errors, please post them here.

I have followed all the above suggestions and my 1.1.6 version still does not show up as 1.1.7. I have designed my website with only using the css files so I haven’t touched any of the templates or html so it should in theory update without issue. Has anyone else come up with a solution?

Same issue here in production environment. I upgraded by FTP-ing the files. However, a test on the local server worked fine.

What I’m curious about is, what do I do with the patches located here http://www.magentocommerce.com/wiki/upgrading_magento_themes_for_the_latest_releases#v_1.1.6_to_1.1.7_default_theme_templates_changes?

How do I upgrade the templates, could anyone give me a little bit more information regarding this?

I had the same issue, but I just downloaded the release and then rsync’ed it into the correct folder and no errors now.
