After the update of Magento 1.16 to 1.17, I get an error message
“Fatal error”:
Call to a member function get DefaultStoreId() on a non-object in
*/usr/www/users/musikf/app/code/core/Mage/CatalogRule/Model/Mysql4/Rule.php*
on line *311*
by editing and saving a product

All my Articles were imported per xml.

Have you figured out the issue? I am having the same problem after upgraded to 1.18.
