Hi there,

I have problems upgrading from v1.1.6 to v1.17. From Magento Connect I run the upgrade package, Mage All Latest and I get:

If I refresh i still view the the upgrade options and administration v.1.16.

Any Help?

Can you please change the permissions on this file, and upgrade again ?

The permissions on this file are 777

Its very rare because I have Magento installed on

mydomain.com

but the file point to mydomain.net

Maybe this is the problem. How can I fix it?

i have the same problem, the admin shows v1.1.6

Same issue here, connect reports old versions. The version info at the bottom of the standard admin pages reports 1.1.7

Connect reports no errors what so ever. However upon refresh connect show the same updates are needed again.

Anyone track this down yet??

My installation said it worked, but also shows 1.1.6, everything seemed fine, even though I got an error on the upgrade install:

Tried to change permissions of this file but for some reason I could not? Even though I could change the premissions of other files, not sure why not?

After looking around more I now get an error on the frontend

Fatal error: Class ‘Mage_Catalog_Helper_Output’ not found in httpdocs/app/code/core/Mage/Core/Model/App.php on line 785

I changed the premissions of this file to 777 but that didn’t do anything either.

My update went OK, and everything shows up to date on magento connect, but admin still shows 1.1.6… ?

When you try to update from 116 to 117 it goes OK, but if you try to update from 113 says all it’s OK, but it’s still 113. If you put an extension the connect manager says that it’s installed, but you can’t see it in the configuration, for exemple method payments.

Some great ideas?

I’m having the same issue.  I’ve cleared all my var/session and var/cache and also made sure all of the permissions were fine.  Everything seemed fine in Magento Connect (that is no errors and everything upgraded to the latest version), but in the Admin it still shows v1.1.6 instead of v.1.1.7

same issues here.
cleared var/cache var/session
reinstalled the main module several times (magento_all_latest) and some others.... the magento downloader screen shows everything is as up-to-date as possible.

Admin screens show 1.1.6, new features (i.e. google sitemap fix) aren’t working so it appears nothing has actually been ‘done’

I tried it on another one of my 1.1.6 sites, everything worked fine, 1.1.7 is shown.

I’ve done nothing different between the two sites.

I’ve done the upgrade to 1.2.0.2 through Magento Connect - still shows 1.1.7 in admin. Tried to do the upgrade again through SSH with the

Commands and still the same - anyone get to the bottom of this? What’s the solution?

having the same problem..even on the new version..from 1.2.1.2 to 1.3.2.2..upgrade seems fine based on the magento connect but on the backend nothing’s changed, the version says 1.2.1.2..any help pls
