After installing the new version of Magento 0.7.14800, my my new shipping modules created thanks to the wiki tutorial ‘how create a new shipping module’ don’t appears in the admin panel ...
How this new version runs local modules ?
I suppose the extensions from the “Locally installed” menu need to be packaged first to appear in the list. So you probably need to create a package (see extensions / Custom local) in the system menu. This is just my guess and I have no idea how this is supposed to work though…
Just curious, is your shipping module from previous version still working in the new release ?
we probably have to create a custom local package , this function is very recent, how does it run ?
you probably have to create a new magento local module file, see my snapshot...but how fill this fields ?
I’ve created app/etc/modules/Mage_NEWMODULE.xml
then i’v created app/code/local/Mage/NEWMODULE/etc/system.xml regarding into the core modules for reference.
But my newmodule does not appear in the admin, this module runs ok with the previous Magento release.
