How long before the core team fixes these issues?

Just logged in to say THANK YOU to Joyously for finding this fix.

I have absolutely learned to *hate* updating Magento. Every time has given me some disastrous error - and I often don’t know there’s even a problem until days later. I’m thankful that there are talented contributors to the software who take the time to participate on the forums.

Thank you again!!!

I had the same problem with the “Wrong tab configuration” which was keeping me from doing anything with my products.

I deleted /var/cache/ and everyhting is back to normal!
Thanks

Unsure whether this is related to this issues in this thread or not, but I also cannot edit Configurable Products, getting the screen seen in the attachment.

Context :
This is on an upgrade from Magento 1.2.1 to 1.3.2.4
All extensions used have been checked for compatibility with 1.3.2.4, but I’ve also tried uninstalling each extension one by one, clearing cache after each, with no improvement..

The file referred to earlier in this thread for editing, are not present in the location suggested in this version of Magento. Also, the source of the edit page suggests that all the info is loaded, it’s just not displaying correctly - there are no SQL errors reported.

Could this be a js problem?

Any suggestions very welcome.

Regards

Hi NeilA,

Did you manage to find a solution to this?

The same thing has happened to me, but I can still see the info in the source code and no errors seem to be apparent.

Thanks

I did indeed find a solution - but it was a coder friend who solved it, and I cannot recall what the issue was!
I do know it was pretty simple, but I’m afraid it was too long ago…
Sorry!

Allo,

I found out the problem was with the version of PHP that was running on the live server.

Here’s a fix if you’re unable to change PHP versions… here
