Magento

Hi,

I have started reading about Magento - the separate websites, stores and admin caught my attention.

Reading what I can however, I haven’t found if I can physically separate the stores from the admin backend? I have a potential project where the stores (quite a few) would be running on local and small machines (i.e. Kiosks) and all connected to a central server (over a VPN probably) where the client wants a common admin system and backend db.

Does anyone know If something like this possible?
