I’m having problems with this too.

The home link is fine, but I want to link to About Us and others from the top.links.

I have tried this, but the link doesn’t work… Any thoughts?  Thanks.

Simon - have you tried using absolute paths instead of the relative ones in your post?

I have a question in regards to this topic -

Instead of adding it to ‘top.links’ can you add it to the primary navigation with the link being to an external url?  I’m familiar with adding a category and using static blocks for the page content, but instead of it going to a content page I want the category link to go to a customer service subsite.  I’ve tried configuring it a couple different ways, but haven’t had any luck. I may just have to set a server-side redirect.

using modern theme. I can’t figure it out. I try to change the orer of the things and they may only sometimes re-sort, but never in any sort of logical order.

I would like to know exactly how or what someone did to get the items to sort the way they wanted.

I would like the added rss feed link to be at the far right of the list (last) rather than the login button. is this not possible?

Excellent, this is what I needed - thanks.

I know this is an old thread that I’m resurrecting, but I wanted to ask where we could find this in the Magento documentation to save me searching the forum or posting for help in the future.

For those who may be interested our Supermenu extension allows you to do this through the admin screens

Hello,

You can do it easily using Menu Manager Pro, this extension simplifies the creation of menus of different types with different structure significantly.
