The Jist of It: A button that mimics the action of the “Proceed to Checkout” button, but for the “Ship to Multiple Addresses” feature.
The reason: It’s a great selling point for my customers to order our gift cards online and ship directly to their recipients.

STEP 1 - Create & Upload the Button
Create your button from the Photoshop template attached. Or use the premade image attached. Then upload the button to the “images” folder your Magento store is using.

STEP 2 - Edit your script to include the new button
Open “store/app/design/frontend/default/default/template/checkout/multishipping/link.phtml”
! ! - Before you make any changes to this make a backup copy of this file just to be safe. - ! !

At line 27 you’ll see the following code:---------------------------------------------------

<li><a href="<?php echo $this->getCheckoutUrl()?>"><big><?php echo Mage::helper('checkout')->__('Checkout with Multiple Addresses');?></big></a></li>

Replace the previous code with the following code:-----------------------------------

a href="<?php echo $this->getCheckoutUrl()?>"><img src="<?php echo $this->getSkinUrl('images/btn_ship_to_multiple.gif');?>" alt="<?php echo Mage::helper('checkout')->__('Checkout with Multiple Addresses');?>" /></a>

That’s it! You should have yourself a Ship to Multiple Addresses Button!
