Hi everyone!

I am new to Magento and I am having problem with my homepage layout.
At the beginning it was working fine. I was adding new products and the homepage layout was all right.
All of sudden it has changed! Now, I don’t know how to fix this problem.
I have tried to change the theme to default or classic, but the problem in the home page remains.
Does anyone have an idea what’s going on? Any help would be very much appreciated!

By the way I am using Magento ver.1.5.0.1

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

DL

In your page source is something like this

<pre class="code">
that shouldn’t be there.
Look for this piece of HTML in your template files and remove it.

Hi tzyganu,

Thanks for your reply.
Could you please let me know which template files should I be looking at in order to remove <pre class="code"> ?
I’ve tried to find them at app/design/frontend/default/modern/template/...but I couldn’t find them.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

DealsLand

I don\’t know exactly where the file is. You can turn on template path hints and get an idea

You are not going to find that in the template files. I had exactly the same problem, to fix it you have to remove the <pre> tags in the editor. You can see the tags when you are in HTML mode.
