Hi all,

thanks for taking the time to help me.

I created an additional link in magento’s toplinks, using the local.xml and this code:

<action method="addLink" module="contacts"><!--Add new link to 'contacts-->
<label>Kontakt</label>
<url>contact</url><!--any url from root or use '
helper' e.g. 'helper="customer/getLoginUrl"'-->
<!--<prepare>true</prepare>-->   <!--setting to '
true' makes url absolute-->
<title>Kontakt</title>
<position>100</position>
</action>

This works fine, but since I’m using store views to change the language of my shop, I need the link title to be translated to.
I want the “Kontakt” translated to “Contact”.

Inline translation didn’t work. (no red dots around “Kontakt")
Neither did using the translate.csv in locale. (works elsewhere fine, but not for the link)

Any idea?

Thank you again,
Martin

Hi, Try:

<action method="addLink" translate="label title" module="contacts">
...
</
action>

Then edit Mage_Contacts.csv in your appropriate locale e.g. app/locale/de_DE/Mage_Contacts.csv
