I installed sample data when set-up the store.

Mow how can I quickly remove all sample data? Includes categories, products, attributes etc.

Thanks!

Hi -

Right now, there are two options.  You either have to delete all of the type of demo data individual.  For example, you can go to catalog -> manage products, change to view 100 per page, select all visible, and the use the delete option for the action drop down.  This will remove all products.

The other alternative is to request a new store without demo data.

We are hearing this request from a number of people however and may provide another option in the future.

Got it, Thanks!

To delete all the sample attributes is really a pain.

I just checked and since there is no mass action for attributes, I agree.

We will work to make this process easier moving forward.

That said, the attributes that are there may be useful and you may not want to delete them.  The situation is different with products and categories obviously but those are more straight forward to remove.
