Hello, last night i ran what i thought would be a fairly straightforward upgrade procedure using Magento Connect. We’re currently running Magento ver. 220.127.116.11 and i decided to bring our site up to date. This site in question is www.insularisrecords.com.
I’m far from familiar with the in’s and out’s of Magento, but i know enough to steer clear of problems. Well, not last night. I’m still away, not having slept since Sunday night. The last 18 hours have been spent trying to undo a seemingly botched upgrade that left us with a completely non-functioning website. I am aware of permission issues, and cache management, and re-installing the various modules.
i’ve ended up re-uploading the entire contents of the FTP server back to our webspace in an attempt to get our site back online. So far everything has gone as well as could be expected, but i am left with an online store with a fully funtional front end, but with a broken checkout. Any attempt to run the checkout results in a 500 Error. There are also a number of errors throughout the backend of the system, one of which i have copies below:
When i click “manage payment methods” i am greeted with:

#10 /var/www/vhosts/insularisrecords.com/httpdocs/index.php(68): Mage::run()
this suggests to me that there are still permissions issues, but for the life of me - maybe its the lack of sleep - i cannot pinpoint precisely what it is i need to change, edit or adjust.
If anyone could offer any assistance, or some caffiene, i’d be massively appreciative.
Thanks in advance,
