I have been noticing that there are lots of post in the Magento Forum from people asking how they could go about doing something. Most of these questions are being answered with a link pointing to an extension in Magento Connect.
This is because there is one major issue (From a developers point of view) when it comes to Magento; Staying up-to-date with Magento extensions once you have completed setting up your store.
At the moment there is no real way for a developer to advertise their extensions to people who aren’t actively looking for them (Unless you use some questionable and invasive tactics like some developers do).
For this reason I am creating a newsletter about Magento extensions. The newsletter will focus on practical extensions rather than gimmicks and themes.
The first newsletter will be published on the 1st of March 2011.
