Hello,

I have search the forum but to no avail, Im trying to add McAfee to the header but every time I try to place it some where it pushes my links down and makes my nav bar half disappears, I am ok with php and had no problem adding it to my old site but HTML is all new to me and Im struggling to get my head round it.

Any advice how to do this would be great smile

Here is where I have but the code in the header.phtml

?>

<div class="header-top-container">
<div class="header-top">
<h1 id="logo"><a href="<?php echo $this->getUrl('') ?>"><img src="<?php echo $this->getLogoSrc() ?>” alt="<?php echo $this->getLogoAlt() ?>"/></a></h1>
<a target="_blank" href="https://www.scanalert.com/RatingVerify?ref=www.jellybabys.co.uk"><img width="115" height="32" border="0" src="//images.scanalert.com/meter/www.jellybabys.co.uk/22.gif" alt="Hacker Safe"></a>
<p class="no-display"><a href="#main"><strong><?php echo $this->__('Skip to Main Content') ?> »</strong></a></p>

<div class="quick-access">

<div class="customercenter">
<?php echo $this->getChildHtml('customercenter') ?>
<!-- Disables the Welcome-message on the top. If you want to enable, disable the Customer-links above or else you will mess up the design
<strong><?php //echo $this->htmlEscape($this->getWelcome()) ?></strong><br/>
-->

</div>

<div class="shop-access">
<?php echo $this->getChildHtml('topLinks') ?>
</div>
<?php echo $this->getChildHtml('store_language') ?>
</div>

</div>
</div>
<?php echo $this->getChildHtml('topMenu') ?>

but if you take a peek at my site it looks wrong, I would like it just past the logo but keep the other links and nav bar in line.

Thanks

Dave

You spelt your URL wrong (it’s store not stroe, a mishtake anyonr could make) so I guess nobody else had a look grin

Looks good, well done!

Anyway, what’s wrong with putting it in the footer with your ISIS link? That will keep the top of the page clean.

You may also want to apply the UK localisation from ‘Connect’ to get ‘Basket’ instead of Cart, and those ‘tags’ may need to go - you can disable the module for them in Admin/Config

Thanks Discovery, well spotted, speeling has never been my strong ponit smile

So glad you liked the site, havent even asked for a review yet smile, The reason I like the McAfree in the header is because its a small logo but shows visitors that we are trust worthy without being in their face, and a lot of the time they don’t even look below the fold.

Did not even think about the UK localisation, but its a good idea, and why lose the tags? because UK shoppers don’t tag??

Thanks Again

Dave
