Anyone else stuck in 503 Error HELL After Upgrade to 1.5.0.1?

No errors are being outputting to screen for me to debug… :(

Anyone have ideas as to where I should start debugging this issue?

Did you delete the maintenance flag file?

Got the same error after upgrading. It will tear one’s hair if you don’t know what to do, but there’s a really simple solution:

Check your magento installation’s root folder on the server. Look for the “maintenance.flag”. Delete it. The shop is up and running again!

Im having same issues.

Deleting the maintenance.flag file did not work.

Does anyone else have any other ideas?

I was having the same problem, and deleting the “maintenance.flag” file worked

This worked for me too - I suspect that after upgrading a module in the connect page it did not release the maintenance flag post install.  Thanks for the post!

We have everlasting 503 errors each day when we turn on Flat Cat Products. Each freakin’day when we got at the office, all stores were down with 503 errors, after each reindex.

Only solution was taking down the flat products dbase option.

Any solution to this?

Life Saver!!!

Location -
/public_html/maintenance.flag

Just delete maintenance.flag and voilà shop is up!!!
