I browsed around the forums and was unable to find a resolution to this…
We have a store that is accepting orders internationally. The store is located in Puerto Rico, so we have it setup where Puerto Rico residents are taxed. However, if a customer orders from the United States they are NOT taxed.
Some customers have neglected to select “Puerto Rico” from the drop-down menu, instead leaving it at “United States” and manually inputting “Puerto Rico” within the address line.
Is there a way we can still have the tax configured if they do this? For example, can Magento recognize when “Puerto Rico” is inserted within the address line and automatically input the tax?
Please help us with this! Thank you.
