Cannot upload product images.

Hello, i recently installed Magento and i am trying to add some products. when i click browse folders nothing happens. i have tryed it on different browsers also, i tryed it on safari, firefox, Internet Explorer and google chrome. and none of them seemed to have worked. i do have the latest version of flash player.

please help

You have flash player 10 installed; uninstall and install flash 9.

I got the same problem, but uninstalling Flash player 10 and installing flash player 9 didn’t solved the problem. I still cannot upload images in the admin.
Can you give me a link for the flash player you installed?

Sorry to be stupid, but I have uninstalled Flash Player 10...how do I install Flash Player 9??

yeh i found that...all that does is download the archive of flash player 9 to my computer...how do I install it?!

Uninstalling Flash 10 is a quick fix, but are the developers working to update the image loader so there is an alternative?

While I like the SWFUploader, I always thought it was a bad choice to make that the only way to upload images.

Eventually the issue will have to be addressed. I’d like to see it sooner than later.

If you are using FireFox then the solution is below. Simply install the “switcher” addon and switch to flash 9 and it works...still not working in IE tho.

I have 9 installed and it still doesn’t do anything when I click on the button.
Anyone else having the same problem?
