Does Magento have built in support to be used with Authorize.Net payment gateway? It is one of the most popular on the internet, but I do not see it on the list here:
In the backend, check on System -> Configuration -> Sales -> Payment gateway (last item).
There, you can see a few payment gateways and you can configure it.
Is anyone interested in an extension that integrates the Authorize.Net CIM module into Magento? CIM is a service from Authorize.Net that allows the merchant to store credit card information in the PCI Compliant Authorize.Net data center. If anyone is interested send me a message.
Im new to magento (and in general, ecommerce), my client wants his prospective clients to be able to pay using interac.... i’ve done my research and i found that there is a company called hosted checkout that implements this… http://kb.e-xact.com/questions.php?questionid=64#integrationop .. has someone tried this? please help.. i need to know if magento has these option to accept payment via “interac”.

If he is using this than he is probably on the Chase Paymentec platform. This is the platform we use and is compatible with Authorize.net. If you wants to use his current account, why not just sign up for an authorize.net account on top of his merchant account? It will be a much easier and probably more efficient solution than interac.
